Our first step would be to gather all the facts from the customer to fully understand the problem and then determine the next steps including carrying out a set of on the spot system measurements and also over a period of time to see how system performs with different conditions. From that we will set out a plan for system improvements and agree next steps with customer. Once implemented demonstrate system improvement performance with data.
We can also provide a detailed independent installation defect report if your system has been installed and not getting satisfactory defect resolution by the installer.
We can also provide a detailed independent evaluation of renewable heating solutions to create a requirement specification for an installer to quote from.
We can also give advice on quotations received from installers to determine best selection to meet needs.

SOLAR THERMAL OR SOLAR PV
On older PV panels systems it may not be apparent that the system is not working correctly as the inverter may be hidden out of sight in the loft. We can carry out a health check on the system and ensure it is working as it was designed.
The battery storage system can sit there and appear to be working but actually doing nothing. Most modern battery systems have built in monitoring but not all. We can review the condition of your installed system and make necessary changes and repairs as required.

We can provide thermal imaging survey report for both internal and external areas.
When reducing energy consumption for heating or reducing overheating in summer a thermal image survey is an excellent way to determine problematic areas.
This can identify areas of heat loss or heat gain but also can give indication of dampness inside a property.

We will install temporary temperature sensors and monitor multiple energy consumption points to create a detailed consumtion report over a minimum 2 week period.
